Tym Fuzz Box FY-2

This is my version of the great Shen-ei FY-2 fuzz from Japan in the 60’s. Made by Honey and sold under many names worldwide but best known as the Shen-ei or Univox “wedge” fuzz this is an early simple 2 transistor fuzz that in original form didn’t reach unity volume when engaged.  My version uses NOS C945 transistors like some of the originals. 

The Deluxe also has a single transistor BOOST section after the fuzz for more volume and variety. This is engaged by the slider switch marked BOOST.

All of my pedals are hand made by me here in Brisbane, Australia using locally sourced components where possible and custom made enclosures. All the Tym effects on this site are constantly being hand made and uploaded for sale as they become available. I do not do presales/preorders or holds on ANY of my hand made stuff. All power supplies are std BOSS style adaptors unless noted otherwise. None of my pedals use batteries.
