TMI Custom SBV 2022

This custom hand made TMI Custom guitar is part of my 25th anniversary and is my homage to Semie and Mosrite. It has a chambered body traced straight from one of my 1965 Mosrite Ventures models and made from high quality solid Queensland pine laminate. The neck is made from laminated Asian mahogany with an Indian rosewood 23 1/2 fret fretboard with zero fret. 

The body contains hand made Tym high output pickups and handmade hardware. See below and/or check my BLOG for full specs.

NECK:

Asian mahogany.

Bound Indian rosewood fretboard. 

23 1/2 medium frets with zero fret.

Large volute. 

4 bolt neck with tenon.  

Mosrite style board and side dot markers.

BODY:

Chambered high quality pine laminate.

ELECTRICS:

Custom hand made Tym '64 Wosrite single coil pickups with hand made covers and surrounds.

3 way selector switch with out of phase in middle position.

Master volume and tone control.

HARDWARE:

Gotoh Grover style tuners.

Handmade aluminium tailpiece.

Tym Ric style bridge (modified)

Custom handmade laminated ABS string guide.

Standard strap buttons.

Tym aluminium neck plate.

FINISH: Metallic pearl silverburst with coarse aluminium fleck and clear acrylic lacquer.

PICKUPS: Neck: 10.4K Mosrite style single coil with segmented alnico bar magnets. Bridge: 13.5K Mosrite style single coil with segmented alnico bar magnets.

This handmade guitar, like all my prototypes and limited run guitars has small imperfections and visible signs of being handmade (the makers mark).
