Friends don't let friends leave their batteries in pedals ...
This corrosion took out the power filter section (and possibly more?) when the owner plugged in the external 9V power supply.
I'll clean it all up and replace those blown caps but if there's more damage, well, I don't really work on SMD. I've said it for years, batteries are evil.
