I'm a huge fan of these "cheap" Japanese guitars and I like to think of their limitations as their appeal. This Tempo is in amazing original condition, but it played like one of these cheap Japanese guitars.
As anyone who has worked on these knows it can take A LOT of work to get them to play ... well, especially if the owner wants to keep them all original. This one was no exception. After quite a bit of neck work and filing the bridge baseplate to get the intonation "almost" right, it now plays really well and sounds great.
