I won't bang on about Les Pauls and the current state of Gibson and how I don't think vintage necessarily means better 'cause non of you want to hear that. I'll just post a bunch of pictures of one the THE BEST Les Paul Customs I've ever owned and played.
As any one who has played lots of guitars knows, some just ... ring with all the right frequencies. They're alive in all the right ways. They exist as something more than just wood and wire. Some are special.
I sold this to a friend a few years ago after he "borrowed" it to record with and wouldn't give it back. It came in recently for a set up to go out on tour and I had forgotten just how great this one is.
