Pleasant guitars were made in the Shinko Gakki factory and only made electric guitars for 2 years ('64-'66) and were copnsidered one of the better quality factories having made organs and pianos. Plesant was the domestic name and they were sold OS as Cipher, Lafayette and Westone, among others.
This was made to use up old bodies and matching necks I have at the workshop. I have done this with Teiscos, Guyatones, Victors and others. Check my blog for more info.
