These are my handmade, hand wired clones of an old school sustain/fuzz made around '73/74 that has been nicknamed the "Violet Rams head" by many, but with a few little twists. I have used BC108's for the transistors giving a little "fizzle" in the top end. This version of the original BM had slightly less gain but way more "harmonics" than later models and re-issues and this one is still lower gain but higher than my standard RH with more mids. The circuit is mainly based on the classic "version 2 Violet" and is housed in my hand made stainless steel enclosures.
These are full sounding fuzz with a less pronounced mid scoop and more output than some others in the series. Check my blog for more details.
All of my pedals are hand made by me here in Brisbane, Australia using locally sourced components where possible and custom made enclosures. All the Tym effects on this site are constantly being hand made and uploaded for sale as they become available. I do not do presales/preorders or holds on ANY of my hand made stuff. Keep an eye on my NEWS feed for what's coming up and when it will be available. Check my blog for more info.
All power supplies are std BOSS style adaptors unless noted otherwise. None of my pedals use batteries.
