MIJ. Good but played condition with player wear and scratches. Medium weight solid body with VERY playable neck with rosewood fretboard. Two very saught after great medium high output single coil pickups. All original electronics including switches. Great offset style vibrato with no vibrato arm. Original non intonatable height adjustable bridge. Original tuners and metal Pleasant headstock badge. No breaks or repairs. No case.
Pleasant guitars were made in the Shinko Gakki factory and only made electric guitars for 2 years ('64-'66) and were copnsidered one of the better quality factories having made organs and pianos. Plesant was the domestic name and they were sold OS as Cipher, Lafayette and Westone, among others. This model actually has no known model number but only apperared in the '65 catalogue.
