We have teamed up with our good friend Naut cases to bring you these locally designed and handmade lightweight cost effective pedalboards available in the shop from this week.
I have known and worked with Naut for years and he has been a huge supporter of Tym guitars not only helping with cases and hardware but also with help building the shop and studio in the Valley and fitting the original PA for instores. Naut makes AMAZING touring road cases/cabinets/pedalboards/etc if you're in the market but will turn his hand to .... anything.
With price and availability in mind we're offering this new lightweight pedalboard series all hand made here in Brisbane in two different formats.
There's simple flat boards with handles for your practice, home recording or simple live shows board. These are flat lightweight ply that are cost effective enough that you can can have several and drill holes in them wherever you need?
These are all 360 mm deep and come in 350, 400, 450, 500, 600 or 700 mm wide and range from .8 to 1.4 KG unloaded.
Then these modular 2 tier boards that are beautifully designed and executed out of the same lightweight and durable ply with raised/angled bottom plate and removable top tier which tilts backwards for access to power supply, leads or extra pedals.
You can easily remove the top tier if you're not using it or don't want as many pedals and use the board as a flat single layer board, and, add the top tier whenever you want to add more pedals.
These also are all 360 mm deep and come in 300, 400, 500 ,600 and 700 mm wide with the top tier being 170 mm deep. These pivot on strong circular hinges on each end of the board for easy access to under the tier. These range from 1.6 to 2.4 KG so still very light weight and strong.
Some here have been loaded up with common pedals to show sizes and all of these will be available on my site and in the shop for people to drop (currently open limited hours due to COVID-19) in and check out. Prices range from $85 to $105 for the flat boards and $170 to $190 for the 2 tier boards.
